
Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center - Kitchen and Dining Facililty
Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, which will feature the most advanced medical technology in the world with 520 large, private rooms for patients with a construction cost over $900 million. The new building was constructed to withstand an 8.0 magnitude earthquake, one of first buildings in California built to the most recent seismic standards. It was designed by C.C. “Didi” Pei in collaboration with renowned Pritzker-Prize winning architect I.M. Pei.
Working closely with the general contractor, Tutor-Salibi-Perini a JV, Kamran and Company, Inc. built a “state of the art” kitchen and dining facility. Kamran and Company, Inc. was selected because of our years of experience with seismic installations for hospital projects. Kamran and Company worked and connected with the architects, owners and other contractors to ensure the best possible project.
