Fresno School District - Nutrition Center
The Fresno School District contracted Kamran and Company to build the central distribution center for their schools. The project included large 25 foot high walk in coolers as well as a cook/chill system manufactured by TUCS. Food at this center is cooked in large batches and then instantly frozen and stored in these massive walk ins. Later, the food will be distributed to the local schools and reheated. This allows the school district to control consistency at all of its schools, as well as labor concentration.
